Roger Evan - Keyboards

Most at home behind a Fender Rhodes, Roger has been playing piano and keyboards professionally since graduating from the Surrey University Tonmeister degree course. Over the years he has played for various function bands, smaller jazz ensembles, and as an accompanist for solo artists and choirs. His true passion is for jazz, soul and funk, with early gigs played on Rhodes and D6 Clavinet. He is Director and co-owner of London Hire company FX Rentals and continues to follow the developments in audio and keyboard technology. His playing career has led him to play alongside many artists including Carleen Anderson, Pee Wee Ellis, and Marcella Detroit. When not playing, Roger is involved in the restoration of vintage electric pianos.
